"Make It" Monday -- NEW Blog Carnival!!
I thought I might open up something new here on my blog. Since I am always interested in finding new recipe, I thought a blog carnival would be a good way to do that.
Each Monday I will post the THEME for that week. If, for instance, the theme is beef dishes, I would post a beef recipe. You can also post a recipe on your blog and link it here on mine (I will have MckLinky set up on the post)
There are benefits for all of us -- we get to see some new recipes, and we also get to visit others' blogs.
Hope you will pop back and join me on Monday for my first carnival!
Don't forget to nab my blinkie (code is below) and add it to your blog!

Banana Bread
Banana Bread
1/4 lb butter (1/2 cup)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 bananas (mashed)
1-3/4 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
Cream together the butter, sugar, and eggs. In separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Alternately add the milk and dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Fold in mashed bananas.
Bake in a greased and floured pan at 325 deg for 1 hour, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
I usually bake this in 2 bread pans for about 40 minutes.
